Clinical Practice Guidelines

Clinical Practice Guidelines are designed to be a resource to clinicians in the evaluation and treatment of patients in specific clinical circumstances. The CPGs are adopted from nationally recognized entities, or developed from current medical information, and clinical experts. They are reviewed and approved internally. CPGs are not absolute standards or minimal levels of care, nor do they replace clinical judgment.
