See your child's Primary Care Provider (PCP) now for shots and Well Child Checks
Don't wait to prepare your child for school!
All children going to school, daycare, preschool or nursery school need a current Well Child Visit. Most people wait until "back to school" time to make an appointment. But if you wait until then, you may have trouble getting an appointment.
If your child is not current on their shots, they may not be able to go to school until they get their shots. So don't wait – call your PCP now for an appointment!

Immunizations (shots) safeguard your child's health. They help prevent serious illness.
It's important to keep track of your child's immunizations. Ask your Primary Care Physician (PCP) about an immunization record. Keep the immunization record in a safe place. Bring it with you each time your child visits the doctor. This will help you keep your child's immunizations up to date.
Children must have all of their immunizations before they can enter school.
Here is a chart that will help you know what shots your child needs and when they need them.
If your child did not get shots at the age shown, they still need them. Talk to your primary care physician about immunizations your child might need.

Las vacunas protegen la salud de su hijo. Ayudan a prevenir enfermedades graves.
Es importante que esté pendiente de las vacunas de su hijo. Pídale a su Médico de Cuidado Primario (PCP) una cartilla de vacunación. Mantenga la cartilla de vacunación en un lugar seguro. Tráigala cada vez que lleve a su hijo al doctor. Esto le ayudará a mantener al día las vacunas de su hijo.
Los niños deben haber recibido todas sus vacunas antes de que puedan entrar a la escuela.
A continuación se presenta una tabla que le ayudará a saber qué vacunas necesita su hijo y cuándo las necesita.
